Project Managers & Superintendents
Job Summary
We are recruiting experienced Project Managers and Superintendents for direct hire opportunities with a leading construction contractor in Austin, TX. The Project Managers and Superintendents will play key leadership roles in planning, coordinating, and delivering construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Key Responsibilities - Manage construction project execution, including field operations, site safety, quality control, schedules, budgets, productivity, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.- Lead project teams, trade contractors, suppliers, owners, and design partners to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations.
- Review plans, specifications, project scopes, estimates, schedules, cost codes, procurement needs, and constructability details throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain site-specific safety and quality plans, lead safety meetings, identify jobsite hazards, and support an incident and injury-free culture.
- Coordinate inspections, punchlist processes, closeout procedures, change documentation, and issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support pre-construction, planning, client communication, proposal preparation, and relationship-building efforts for future project opportunities. Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
- Salary range: $87,000 to $160,000 per year.
- Senior Project Manager: $154,000 per year.
- Project Manager II: $138,000 per year.
- Project Manager: $119,000 per year.
- Superintendent estimated pay: $87,000 to $140,000 per year. Benefits:

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage commercial, office, residential, or complex building construction projects from planning through closeout.- Lead jobsite operations, safety programs, schedules, quality control, trade partner coordination, and project communication.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, budgets, cost codes, procurement requirements, and project schedules.
- Partner with owners, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to deliver successful project outcomes. - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of directly related construction experience, or high school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of directly related experience.
- Experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or construction leader on building construction projects.
- Proficiency with construction management and scheduling tools such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and related project management software.
- Strong understanding of building plans, specifications, value engineering, life cycle costing, project schedules, budgets, and construction sequencing.
- Proven ability to lead safety initiatives, maintain compliance, and support jobsite safety expectations.
- Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, field teams, project documentation, inspections, punchlists, and closeout activities.
- Strong communication, listening, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, professionalism, and ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to travel to project sites and accept long-term out-of-town assignments when needed.
- Ability to work in various climate conditions and perform physical jobsite activities, including climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to occasionally lift, move, and/or carry up to 100 pounds. Preferred Qualifications - Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Experience participating in pre-construction, constructability reviews, quantity take-offs, pricing estimates, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
- Experience with complex projects and demonstrated success driving operational growth, process improvement, and project execution.
- Active participation in construction industry organizations or professional networks.
