About the Job We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer in Austin to help us build our technology products alongside a growing engineering team who are passionate about delivering software we are proud of while having fun along the way. A qualified candidate should have experience as a front-end software engineer developing sleek, highly functional, consumer-facing web apps, and want to have a meaningful impact at an early-stage technology company. Job Requirements 3+ years of experience with Vue.js (preferably including Vue3 and modern Vue paradigms) 4+ years of experience with custom web application development Must be dedicated, passionate, curious, hard-working, and excited to work in an energetic environment A creative and efficient problem solver and flourishes when working on challenging issues Attention to detail and an understanding of what makes a great user experience Ability to work well with the Product team to iterate on designs and user experience flows Build reusable, testable code that will drive engineering efficiency Self-directed with a strong bias towards action and thrives in an ambiguous environment that is ripe for disruption Technical Preferences Experience with Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 In-depth knowledge of front-end testing options Experience building consumer-facing front-end web apps Hands-on experience with tools such as git, Jira, and Confluence Strong skills with JavaScript and the corresponding toolchain Experience with PHP, Laravel, and jQuery Demonstrated success in modernizing legacy applications with modern front-end best practices What You Will Do Own portions of the front-end development at Closinglock, including working with Product and Designers on UI concepts and implementing them. Work with other highly skilled front-end engineers to create a cohesive customer experience throughout the Closinglock ecosystem Engender a culture of documentation, collaboration, and best practices. Consult on efforts regarding feature requests, feedback, and future product development for the business. Work directly with the engineering leadership to continue establishing a maintainable, testable, and elegant code base. This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
