JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to carry out patient treatment plan as directed by supervising occupational therapist. Flexibility and independent decision making skills are important.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provides patient care and treatments as directed in OT evaluation.
• Must be comfortable treating various patient populations and working in various settings.
• Must continuously improve OT knowledge and skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• One (1) year progressively responsible experience performing occupational therapy assistant functions preferred.
• TX State Occupational Therapy Assistant License required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
