Job Title : Accounts Payable Clerk

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. (“Thalle”) is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. We are looking for an easy-going team player interested in joining a tightknit team that works closely together in performing Accounts Payable administrative functions for a locally based construction company. The ideal candidate would feel comfortable and confident learning and performing the following tasks:

• High volume of Accounts Payable data entry into accounting software and Excel.


• Assisting the accounting team with administrative duties such as sorting mail and scanning files.


• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience with Accounts Payable data entry preferred


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate.


• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)


• Professionalism and Confidentiality


• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks


• Attention to detail


• Ability to self-manage work with little supervision


• Organization and planning skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.


• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.


• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
