Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and 24/7 oversight for cardiac stepdown operations
• Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practices and the Synergy Model
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain patient safety standards
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Ensure compliance with TJC Patient Safety Goals and infection prevention protocols
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics including patient, employee, and physician satisfaction
• Implement innovative care delivery models focused on patient-centered outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• BSN required; MSN or related Master's degree preferred
• Current Texas State RN license or compact license
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care critical care leadership experience
• Progressive leadership experience highly valued
• BLS/ACLS certification
• National Specialty Certification (or obtainable within first year)
• Experience in Magnet or Pathways facilities preferred
