Warehouse and Logistics Manager

GAC Enterprises, LLC is a well-established telecommunication construction company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team. This key role is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment across our warehouse, yard, and job sites. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, inbound and outbound shipments, equipment oversight, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively coordinate logistics, negotiate with suppliers and carriers, and support our construction teams with timely and accurate material deliveries. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the overall success of our field operations.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track product movement, and forecast material needs to meet demand.
• Conduct regular stock audits and ensure precise documentation of materials received, stored, and dispatched.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software for real-time inventory control.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

• Set up and maintain schedules for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Oversee the timely and efficient delivery of products and materials to job sites or clients.
• Manage fleet operations, including forklifts and delivery vehicles.

Supplier & Carrier Relations

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and freight carriers.
• Negotiate favorable rates and contracts for materials procurement and transportation.

Warehouse Operations & Efficiency

• Direct the daily flow of materials through the warehouse and yard, ensuring optimal storage and organization.
• Manage warehouse equipment and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all materials are handled safely and stored according to established protocols.

Team Leadership

• Supervise logistics and warehouse staff, assign duties, and manage daily workflows.
• Motivate and lead a team to meet performance goals and maintain high operational standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance in all warehouse activities.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure proper use of PPE and warehouse equipment.

Customer Service & Communication

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to fulfill material requests.
• Resolve order discrepancies or shipping issues quickly and professionally.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment.
• Able to stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily in a warehouse and outdoor yard setting, with exposure to construction materials and elements.
