Global Logistics Coordinator
Description: Prepare Domestic and International shipping documentation. Route freight using standard routings, arranging transportation as required, accomplishing bills of lading and other required shipping documentation. In addition to these requirements, the candidate must establish standard routings for shipments not dictated by contract negotiations or government or consignee direction: Route and classify freight in accordance with National Motor Freight Classification guidelines. Arrange for specialized transport requirements e.g. classified, hazardous materials, over-dimensional items or any other shipments where standard routings do not apply. Provide routing directions to vendors for inbound freight collect shipments when on-line routing guide does not specify a carrier. Assist in training other represented employees when required.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Global Logistics/Traffic Office. Experience with routing of freight Domestically and Internationally. Experience with completion of Bill of Lading knowledge.
Desired Skills:
SAP experience
Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel), Knowledge of specialized transport requirements e.g. hazardous, explosives, government routed shipments, over dimensional, classified shipments.
Working knowledge of Freight claims and National Freight Classifications (MNFC) Regulations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
