Sales Agent
Summary
The Sales Agent is a pivotal role within the organization, tasked with delivering exemplary client service and achieving individual sales objectives. This position emphasizes the development of strong client relationships through a comprehensive understanding of insurance products. Responsibilities
- Plan and organize daily activities to engage with potential clients, both individuals and businesses.
- Expand existing client accounts by securing larger policies and coordinating promotional activities.
- Execute all sales functions, including responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing follow-up schedules.
- Follow up on leads and proficiently close sales.
- Meet and exceed established sales goals and quotas.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and routinely update the database with information regarding inquiries, quotes, and opportunities.
- Utilize market research and professional connections to identify new client prospects.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to broaden market reach and foster client relationships.
- Remain informed about all products and services offered by the company, ensuring a thorough understanding of product lines and pricing.
Requirements
- Strong self-initiative with a proven capability to meet sales goals with minimal supervision.
- Documented success in closing sales and generating revenue.
- Prior experience in a sales-focused role is highly valued.
- Strong phone presence with experience in outbound calling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation abilities.
- Effective organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using computer applications pertinent to sales.
- Solution-oriented approach to selling, with the ability to establish and maintain robust client relationships.
