- They facilitate learning by providing guidance, encouragement, and support, allowing children to learn at their own pace and pursue their interests.

- They foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture where each child feels valued and supported.

- Classroom Management:

- Curriculum and Instruction:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with Montessori principles.
- Guiding children in individual and group activities, fostering independence and self-directed learning.
- Observing and assessing each child's progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Providing diagnostic lessons and assessments in core areas like math, literacy, and writing.
- Student Development:
- Fostering a love for learning and encouraging children's natural curiosity.
- Guiding children in developing problem-solving skills, self-discipline, and social skills.
- Promoting a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to enhance the program.
- Communicating regularly with families about their child's progress and development.
- Participating in parent-teacher conferences and school activities.
- Professional Development:
- Continuously learning and staying current with best practices in Montessori education.
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development.
- Preparing and maintaining Montessori materials and equipment.
- Assisting with the training of new teachers.
