Speech-Language Pathologist Job Details Location: Lewisville, TX 75057 (Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex) Healthcare Setting: Hospital Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 19, 2025 – November 18, 2025) Shift: 8-hour day shifts (07:30 – 16:30), rotating weekends Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,870 - $1,920 per week Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel SLP contract SLP Qualifications Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license/certification in Texas Minimum 1 year of SLP experience, preferably in hospital or acute care settings Experience with adult and/or pediatric hospital patients is a plus Ability to work rotating weekends as part of a collaborative therapy team Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Current eligibility to work in the United States Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations and treatments for hospital patients Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists to develop individualized care plans Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic medical records in accordance with hospital and healthcare regulations Educate patients and families on therapy goals, strategies, and progress to support optimal outcomes Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered healthcare environment Apply now to join our hospital therapy team in Lewisville, Texas, and take the next step in your SLP career with this rewarding locum tenens opportunity!
