NetSuite Developer / Analyst
Job Title: NetSuite Developer / Analyst
Location: Coppell, TX Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)
Travel: Occasional travel to California (2x in first 6 months)
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (W2 Only – No Sponsorship)
Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on NetSuite Developer/Analyst to join a growing, forward-looking IT team. This is a newly created position replacing a previous remote consultant, offering an opportunity to take ownership of NetSuite and help shape its future within the organization. This role combines daily NetSuite support with long-term strategy and development work, including the potential for a full platform reimplementation within the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the internal NetSuite Subject Matter Expert (SME) .
- Handle day-to-day NetSuite administration and support, including:
- Custom scripting (SuiteScript)
- Workflow development and maintenance
- Backend development using JavaScript
- Troubleshooting and user support as needed
- Evaluate and assess the current (legacy 2005) NetSuite implementation and define modernization strategies.
- Work closely with the Director of IT to offload reporting and system administration responsibilities.
- Act as a team player willing to assist with tasks outside of core responsibilities when needed.
- Support and guide future implementation efforts in partnership with third-party providers.
- Help shape the organization’s ongoing relationship with Oracle.
- Collaborate across departments to align NetSuite functionality with business processes, especially around warehouse and inventory operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development and administration experience.
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript and workflow customization.
- Experience in NetSuite backend development and troubleshooting.
- Able to balance tactical support and strategic planning for future ERP needs.
- Comfortable working with highly customized NetSuite environments.
- Willing to handle some Level 1 support while ramping up.
- Strong understanding of warehouse, inventory, and repair operations within NetSuite.
- Proven ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Stable work history – seeking candidates who are not job hoppers.
