Laundry Aide

This role is essential in providing residents with clean, well-maintained linens and clothing, ensuring their comfort and hygiene. Success in this position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your Impact as a Laundry Staff Member In this role, you will:
- Wash & Dry Laundry: Utilize both household and industrial laundry equipment to clean resident and facility linens and clothing.
- Fold & Organize Linens: Fold and stack linen neatly, ensuring proper storage and distribution.
- Deliver Clean Linens: Ensure linens and laundry are delivered promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Handle Chemicals Safely: Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
- Assist Residents: Deliver clothing directly to residents' rooms and ensure items are handled with care.
- Can follow verbal instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure laundry is properly cleaned and organized.
- Is reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude when working with residents, families, and staff.
