As an HVAC Chiller Technician with Carrier you will uniquely impact our customers becoming the face of confidence we stand by while ensuring their comfort. Your knowledge of Commercial HVAC will be critical in working on a variety of installations repairs and maintenance projects. What youll do

• Participate in startup and commissioning of new units applying expertise to support a state-of-the-art facility.

• Perform diagnostic tests troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions and execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.

• Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents including blueprints and diagrams.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues for resolution when necessary.

• Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements operating equipment safely recognizing HVAC-related hazards completing safety training and implementing effective safety measures.

Required Quali fications:

• Possess High School Diploma/GED

• 5 years working experience in the HVAC Industry

• 3 years working with air cooled chillers

• EPA Universal

• Ability to p ush/pull/liftup to 50lbs climb a ladder and work on rooftops

• Ability to stand crawl sit squat of extended period of times

• Possess and maintain valid and current Drivers License and be insurable by the companys insurance carrier

• Be a current union member or willing to join a union and pass examination r egarding the abilities and k now-how of Building Trades Journeyman conducted by an Examining Board

Valued but not

• OSHA 30 Certification

• Centrifugal chiller experience

• Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC)

• Experience with data center equipment

• Experience with Steam Turbines

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
