Umbraco Web Developer

Our client is seeking a mid‑senior Umbraco Web Developer  to maintain, enhance, and optimize multiple Umbraco‑based websites. This role supports both legacy and current Umbraco versions and focuses on delivering responsive, accessible, and high‑performance web experiences. Contract extension may be possible based on project needs and performance.

Contract Duration: 3 months | W2

Please Note: Must be able to work within EST/CST hours

Requirements:

• Build and optimize responsive, mobile‑friendly web pages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues quickly and accurately.
• Maintain site performance, security, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Implement front‑end solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to implement updates and new features.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
• Utilize AI‑assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate development workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and update websites built on various Umbraco versions (legacy + current)

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Ability to work standard EST or CST business hours.
• Experience working with design tools such as Figma.
• Strong front‑end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Proven experience building responsive, mobile‑optimized web pages.
• Understanding website performance optimization and modern best practices.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Umbraco Certified Expert with experience across multiple Umbraco versions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with .NET/C# for custom Umbraco functionality.
• Experience with marketing automation tools such as Pardot.
• Background in agency or freelance environments managing multiple websites.
