Temporary Administrative Assistant
Downtown Houston: Contract Position
Overview:
Join our team as a Temporary Administrative Assistant to cover for a valued team member on leave. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operations of our executive staff, empowering us to deliver excellence in all departmental activities. You will be responsible for implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies while assisting in managing daily operations.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of five years of administrative assistant experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in data management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders
- Capability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe software
Nice to Have Skills: While not mandatory, experience in coordinating travel arrangements and managing business expense reporting would be beneficial.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in business or a related field from an accredited two-year university or community college. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a focus on business or a related field.
Additional Information: This position is based in Zip Code 77002 with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Daily parking reimbursement of $13 is provided. The pay rate ranges from $30-35 per hour, depending on experience.
