Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care according to established standards and protocols.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Support new staff members through mentorship and orientation.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team and patients.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and other healthcare technologies.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in a Med Surg or relevant clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in patient education and discharge planning is a plus.
