DevOps Engineer
Description
We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our on-premises infrastructure, focusing on automation, reliability, and security. You'll play a critical role in supporting our software quality assurance pipeline, ensuring the smooth operation of our Jenkins-based CI/CD system and the efficient utilization of our on-premises resources, including GPU servers. You can also contribute to backend tasks and gain exposure to our Python-based AI pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Manage and monitor on-premises server infrastructure, including GPU servers.
Optimize resource utilization and performance of GPU servers.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
Contribute to backend development tasks in Python, as needed.
Maintain and improve existing Python scripts and tools used for DevOps automation.
Manage user access and permissions for on-premises resources.
Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Python scripting.
Experience managing on-premises server infrastructure.
Experience with Linux system administration.
Understanding networking principles and security best practices.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience managing GPU servers and optimizing their performance.
Experience with backend development in Python.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
