Registered Nurse

Veterans Engineering is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in various settings. Your expertise and commitment to patient-centered care will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments Develop, update, and implement patient/resident care plans
  • Administer medications (oral, IV, blood products) using BCMA with 100% accuracy
  • Initiate and manage peripheral, central, and PICC lines
  • Provide ventilator care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning (oral, NG, trach, deep suction)
  • Perform wound care (sterile and non-sterile) and obtain cultures
  • Conduct pain assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, pulse oximetry, and vital signs
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Perform fall risk assessments, Braden Scale assessments, and skin integrity evaluations
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitative efforts
  • Provide end-of-life supportive care to patients and families

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are a plus

Travel Requirement

Travel to client locations may be required based on project needs.
