Registered Nurse
Veterans Engineering is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in various settings. Your expertise and commitment to patient-centered care will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments Develop, update, and implement patient/resident care plans
- Administer medications (oral, IV, blood products) using BCMA with 100% accuracy
- Initiate and manage peripheral, central, and PICC lines
- Provide ventilator care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning (oral, NG, trach, deep suction)
- Perform wound care (sterile and non-sterile) and obtain cultures
- Conduct pain assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, pulse oximetry, and vital signs
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Perform fall risk assessments, Braden Scale assessments, and skin integrity evaluations
- Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitative efforts
- Provide end-of-life supportive care to patients and families
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are a plus
Travel Requirement
Travel to client locations may be required based on project needs.
