Full Stack Developer (Remote - Texas)

This role offers the chance to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, designing and implementing scalable, high-quality applications. The ideal candidate will work with modern technologies such as Java, Spring, Python, and front-end frameworks to deliver robust solutions that meet business needs. This remote position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to coding best practices, testing, and continuous improvement in an Agile environment.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using Java (Java EE, Java 17), Spring framework, and Python.
• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Develop and manage server-side logic, APIs, and databases (Postgres, SQL), ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining high code quality via code reviews.
• Apply Agile methodologies throughout the development process including deployment and continuous integration.
• Utilize testing tools like Cypress, JUnit, and Playwright to validate functionality and address security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure smooth delivery of solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer and Tech Lead, including mentoring junior developers.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring framework, Python (Django or Flask), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and OOP principles.
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (ReactJS or Angular), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SAFe/Agile methodologies and ability to obtain government clearance.
