Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Location: Kerrville, Texas

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet and exceed C&M quality standards in compliance with NPCA plant requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Conduct and oversee pre-pour and post-pour inspections, documenting and tracking results.
• Perform and delegate daily aggregate and concrete testing, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
• Monitor and enhance concrete quality and consistency.
• Work closely with the Safety Manager and Plant Manager to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Maintain an organized and clean office and laboratory environment.
• Manage a team of 2-5 staff members, fostering a positive and communicative work atmosphere.
• Ensure good attendance and maintain a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• NPCA/PCI and ACI certifications required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in quality control within the concrete industry is preferred.

Compensation

Salary:  $70k-$80k per year, based on experience and ability.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Work both outdoors and indoors.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Requires computer use and physical activities such as climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and twisting.
