Mark Lane Law is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for someone who is a quick thinker, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a polished and professional presence.

You will be the first point of contact for clients—setting the tone for the firm’s reputation with every interaction. We are looking for someone who can anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and handle sensitive situations with confidence and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone with professionalism and warmth
• Manage a high-volume call environment and route calls efficiently
• Schedule consultations and maintain attorney calendars with precision
• Handle client intake and ensure accurate data entry into firm systems (Clio experience is a plus)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office
• Assist with document preparation, scanning, filing, and general administrative support
• Monitor emails and respond or route messages appropriately
• Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred (legal setting a plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Clio or similar legal software is a bonus
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
