Data Engineer- Plano, TX

Rate: $57/hour on W2
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives on designing scalable data pipelines and integrating AI/ML capabilities into real-world applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Python-based data engineering, modern cloud environments, and a passion for high-impact data systems.
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Advanced Python programming skills for data pipelines and automation
Expertise in Data Mining and large-scale data processing
Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native data solutions
Proficient in CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins
Containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes
Familiarity with AI/ML integration in data systems
Nice-to-Have Skills:
AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, or DevOps preferred)
Frontend experience with React or backend knowledge in Java
Experience working with unstructured databases (NoSQL) such as MongoDB, DynamoDB
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Splunk
Background in Network or Data Telemetry
Exposure to SRE practices (Site Reliability Engineering)
Understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) protocols and policies
