We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction plumbing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial construction projects.
Measure, cut, and assemble pipes and fittings according to specifications.
Work with various plumbing materials, including PVC, copper, and cast iron.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with local building codes.
Operate hand and power tools used in plumbing installation and repair.
Lead and supervise a small crew of apprentices and helpers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to quality standards.
Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project completion.
Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with all plumbing regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines.
Valid Journeyman Plumbers License. (Varies by State)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing installation.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and local plumbing codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Experience working with various hand and power tools used in plumbing.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass background check.
Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
Experience with soldering, brazing, and welding plumbing components.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
