Legal Counsel (Litigation)

Legal Counsel (Litigation)

The Role

We need someone to manage our dispute and litigation portfolio-all of it, from day one. You'll handle the full lifecycle: intake, discovery, document collection and production, vendor coordination, insurance interface, and resolution. The goal is to resolve disputes to the advantage of the business-efficiently and effectively - through ADR if possible, but in court if necessary.


You'll work closely with business owners on their disputes and with colleagues responsible for risk management across the company. We need someone who understands process and can help the business manage and resolve its disputes.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full dispute and litigation portfolio
• Drive disputes toward resolution
• Locate and collect responsive documents (paper and electronic)
• Coordinate with outside vendors and law firms on review and production
• Interface with insurance carriers on coverage and claims
• Track deadlines, budgets, and deliverables
• Build and improve dispute management processes

What We're Looking For

• JD and bar admission (any U.S. state)
• Experience with discovery and document production
• 3-6 years of experience (law firm or in-house)
• Process-oriented and business-minded
• Strong organizational skills
• Someone who wants to grow and take on more over time

The Team

You'll join a small legal team-4 attorneys (including the U.S. General Counsel) and 1 paralegal.
