Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary The Manager Project Management Organization is responsible for the strategic management of projects focused on growing, improving and enhancing WFS’ business.Responsibilities

• Flawless scope definition, planning and execution.
• Efficient and effective communication with project stakeholders throughout the life of the project.
• Effective management of third-party vendors while promoting the interests of WFS during contract negotiations and tactical positioning.
• Implementation of efficiencies that meet or exceed the operational and financial expectations established by the project at initiation.
• Regular identification and mitigation of project risks and challenges.
• Completion of After-Action Reviews at significant milestones or tail end of projects.
• Set annual performance targets for direct reports and conduct performance reviews and evaluations, per WFS values, and provide consistent feedback to promote growth and development of team members.
• Build a strong network and culture of collaborating across project sponsoring organizations and ensuring portfolio aligns with strategic goals.
• Oversee collection, analysis and reporting or project related metrics (operational, financial, etc.) to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Create resources for ongoing visibility of project performance by project stakeholders and the operation (such as dashboards, reports, and templates).
• Oversee content preparation and delivery of project key updates to senior leadership.
• Ensure project team adherence to project management and portfolio governance best practices.
• Create, or contribute to the creation and enforcement of PMO portfolio governance frameworks, procedures and standards, to ensure consistency of PMO throughput.
• Support project decision making through advanced analytics.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management or similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years in leadership roles.
• Proven record of successful project delivery, and substantial team leadership experience.
• Leader who can collaborate with, develop multiple direct reports, and establish long lasting partnerships with projects sponsors.
• Drive and curiosity to identify project roadblocks and find solutions to complex business problems, and will be accountable for their subordinate’s project strategies, financial tracking and health, and key messaging to the leadership.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Preferred Skills
