Pay Range: $22.00 to $28.00
Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and detail oriented Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations at a residential community in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with residents, supporting financial performance, and helping lead an onsite team. It is also a strong pathway to becoming a future Community Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support rent collection, delinquency management, and basic financial reporting
- Assist with budget preparation and expense control
- Support leasing activities to help achieve occupancy goals
- Manage lease renewals and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations
- Enforce community policies and support conflict resolution
- Conduct regular property inspections and monitor overall curb appeal
- Coordinate with the maintenance team and manage work orders
- Communicate with vendors and support operational needs
- Assist the Community Manager in supervising and motivating the onsite team
- Ensure adherence to company standards, procedures, and fair housing laws
Qualifications Required
- 3 or more years of experience in property management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of property management regulations and fair housing laws
- Experience with rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Preferred
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar industry certification
