Credit Analyst: Reviews, evaluates, and decisions loan applications from both direct and indirect channels. Direct products include auto loans, credit cards, personal lines of credit, RV loans, signature term loans, and home equity products. Indirect applications include auto and recreational loans. Requires strong service orientation and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do:

• Reviews and evaluates loan applications from direct and indirect channels, using appropriate tools to mitigate risk.
• Analyzes credit data, financial statements, and property valuations to determine creditworthiness and lending risk.
• Ensures all application data is complete and accurate in the loan origination system.
• Makes loan decisions within authorized limits and manages the performance of an assigned loan portfolio.
• Communicates with Dealers and Representatives regarding decisions and exceptions.
• Maintains strong knowledge of lending policies, procedures, Credit Union loan products, and peripheral products (e.g., Credit Life/Disability, GAP, Vehicle Service Contracts).
• Uses the loan origination system to generate and review financial ratios.
• Provides credit-related consultation to internal departments.
• Protects the confidentiality and security of member information.
• Recommends policy and procedure changes to management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is hybrid at our Dallas Corporate location. Compensation $30-38 an hour depending on qualifications.
