Technical Training Specialist
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to join our User Adoption Team on a full-time or contractual basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote environment, excels at live technical training, and is passionate about helping end users confidently adopt new systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. The Training Specialist will be part of a team creating and delivering both in-person and remote training modules and materials for a software go-live project.
This role may require occasional travel to various locations in the US for training sessions and meetings.
Please note: Candidates must reside in the Austin area, as in-office (Arboretum area) workdays are required. This position is a 7-to-9-month duration with the possibility to extend beyond this timeframe.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live, remote training sessions for clinic office staff using Microsoft Teams.
- Conduct technical demonstrations from a live software training sandbox environment.
- Address and clarify functional and technical questions from end users during training/demo sessions.
- Attend remote Teams meetings during a normal 8am – 5pm CST day to gain functional knowledge and proficiency of software technical workflows and new features.
- Collaborate with the User Adoption content development team and program SMEs to assist in creating engaging training materials, including but not limited to:
- Microlearning videos
- Job aids
- PowerPoint presentations
- User Guides
- Training Instructor Guides
- Meet deadlines set by project team leads.
- Communicate with team leads about anticipated risks to deadlines.
- Pivot to other tasks that might take priority and be requested by team leads.
- Support the broader User Adoption Team in aligning training with Verdtek’s AERA® methodology.
- Other training related responsibilities as assigned by the Training Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Experience delivering remote and in-person technical training, ideally in a CRM environment.
- Experience with Training development cycles and materials such as ADDIE including training needs analysis, user/persona identification, instructor guides, and materials supporting delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for live remote training delivery or meeting facilitation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Apps such as Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook in a Windows 11 environment.
- Comfortable navigating and demonstrating using a l ive software sandbox environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience creating training content using PowerPoint;
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in training clinic or healthcare administrative staff.
- Experience developing and designing workshops (ILT/VILT) for technical training.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Experience with microlearning design and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency with SnagIt and Camtasia or other video screen casting tools.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Google Gemini.
- Familiarity with user adoption methodologies or change management frameworks.
