Executive Compensation and Equity Manager

BRIEF JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing executive compensation, including benchmarking, evaluation and annual compensation processes for NVA's Senior Leadership and C-Suite population. In addition, the role is responsible for the design, management and communication of NVA's long-term incentive plans, balancing the ability to attract and retain talent while meeting the NVA's strategic objectives and financial targets. In addition, this role is responsible for preparation of all communication documents as well as NVA's Remuneration Committee materials, including partnering and influencing a cross-functional team (Finance, Legal, Human Resources) in support of the preparation and timely review of materials with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Compensation:

  • Drive continuous improvement in compensation processes impacting the senior leadership population
  • Continually explore external trends and best practices to ensure current solutions are best in class
  • Ensure effective support related to senior leadership population related to benchmarking and compensation analysis

Data Management

  • Own and manage all grant data (tracking new grants + auditing and cleaning up old data)
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of program participants, grants, and equity-related transactions across multiple platforms
  • Generate reports and analysis to assess the financial and operational aspects of long-term incentive programs

Documentation/Communication:

  • Create and maintain business process documentation for all aspects of program administration
  • Develop and implement communication materials to educate HR business partners and employees about the long-term incentive programs, including plan features, timelines, eligibility criteria, and performance metrics
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding program eligibility, vesting schedules, and performance metrics.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

  • In collaboration with legal, ensure the company's long-term incentive programs are compliant with local, state, and federal requirements and all regulatory aspects of executive compensation programs and vesting/payout events

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of equity/LTI compensation - preferably in the US
  • Proficient in handling and analyzing large data sets, as well as using equity management software
  • Attention to detail: Processing transactions, reviewing contracts, tracking data, etc.
  • Proficient in regulatory and tax requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication to assist in educating and informing about our LTI Plans, explaining complex concepts in a clear, thoughtful manner

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least 7+ years in Total Rewards
  • At least 3+ years of overseeing equity or long-term incentive programs, or related incentive plans
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
