Hotel Reservations Specialist

: Overview: Hotel Reservations Specialist Responsibilities are to be the first point of contact for guests calling in to make reservations at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner
• Provide guests with the requested information concerning the city, the hotels and its services
• Obtain the necessary information from the guests and enter it into the LMS computer system
• Sell and cross-sell for multiple properties
• Work from Home options after successfully completing on-site training
• Monthly incentives based on performance

Qualifications:

• Effective in sales and upselling
• Exceptional Customer Service skills are essential for this position
• Excellent communication skills, pleasant phone manner, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task several projects at once in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented and self-motivated, able to type efficiently and accurately, and compile and comprehend reports.
• Professional demeanor, comfortable working with all levels of employees, and capable of additional responsibility and growth.
• Able to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals
• Listens carefully and understands various points of view
• Ability to perform as a team member and possess strong computer skills
• High school diploma required
• One (1) year of experience as a call center agent, hotel reservationist, front desk agent, or equivalent work experience
