Hotel Reservations Specialist
:
Overview: Hotel Reservations Specialist Responsibilities are to be the first point of contact for guests calling in to make reservations at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. Responsibilities: - Answer all incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner
- Provide guests with the requested information concerning the city, the hotels and its services
- Obtain the necessary information from the guests and enter it into the LMS computer system
- Sell and cross-sell for multiple properties
- Work from Home options after successfully completing on-site training
- Monthly incentives based on performance
Qualifications: - Effective in sales and upselling
- Exceptional Customer Service skills are essential for this position
- Excellent communication skills, pleasant phone manner, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task several projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and self-motivated, able to type efficiently and accurately, and compile and comprehend reports.
- Professional demeanor, comfortable working with all levels of employees, and capable of additional responsibility and growth.
- Able to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals
- Listens carefully and understands various points of view
- Ability to perform as a team member and possess strong computer skills
- High school diploma required
- One (1) year of experience as a call center agent, hotel reservationist, front desk agent, or equivalent work experience
