The Position

Our bank client is seeking a Seasoned Commercial Loan Credit Analyst to fill a role in the Fort Worth, TX market. The successful Credit Analyst candidate will be responsible for analyzing the financial conditions of individuals and businesses applying for C&I, CRE, and SBA credit and making recommendations to the Chief Loan Officer/Loan Review Committee for approval. This position is primarily responsible for analyzing complex new loans and loan renewals.

This role has a competitive salary of up to $80K and includes an excellent benefits package.

Commercial Loan Credit Analyst Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing borrower’s financial position by interpreting and evaluating financial statements, tax returns, and/or projections.
• Preparing spreadsheets and reports through company related software that compares industry trends and related standards.
• Preparing comprehensive credit memorandums and providing opinions and recommendations regarding proposed loans and potential risks.
• Maintaining current accounts and relationships and researching any problem necessary to resolve any routine or non-routine requests for financial information.
• Preparing financial projections (to include sensitivity analysis) when requested by Business Development Officers (BDO), Business Bankers, Relationship Managers (RM), or Directors of Business Banking (BB).
• Reviewing loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to credit memorandum covenants and conditions.
• Interacting with customers and their accountants in the credit analysis process when appropriate.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• College degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Four or more years’ experience as a Credit Analyst, either in Banking or a related field or comparable experience in a commercial banking position.
• Experience as a Credit Analyst strongly preferred.
• Significant CRE and C&I credit analysis background – Some exposure to SBA loans (504 / 7a) a plus.
• Strong understanding of the theories of credit underwriting and loan structuring.
• Strong audit background.
• Strong work habits, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
