Location: Tyler, TX 75701
Expected Duration: Full time - FTE
Salary: $91,000 to $130,000 Per Year
Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and tooling operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role will drive process optimization, equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and capital projects while supporting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Tooling teams.
- Manage manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and process improvements.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
- Drive lean manufacturing, TPM, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead capital projects, equipment installations, and new product introductions.
- Manage tooling and die operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Track KPIs including OEE, downtime, and project performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 7–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, maintenance, tooling, and project management.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
