WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Data Analyst and BI Consultant who will be responsible for driving innovation with stakeholders by developing and promoting modern data analytics and visualization techniques and concepts using tools like PowerBI. You will be responsible for creating actionable business intelligence dashboards that leads to improvement in data-driven decision making. You will be responsible to track project status and deliverables and provide updates to all stakeholders. You will be responsible for contributing to the advancement of business intelligence and data analytics principles across all the project teams
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Performing data analyses on software programs, databases, data pipelines, applications, and web services
· Perform complex and efficient SQL queries to analyze and understand datasets
· Identify and implement data quality improvements
· Create business intelligence dashboards and visualizations that lead to actionable insights and deliver business value
· Utilize various PowerBI and DAX features and functions including aggregation, date/time filters, text manipulation, Calculate functions, maps, charts, and advanced analytical capabilities
· Ensure high data quality and integrity and take active mitigation and governance steps
· Build user defined KPIs by integrating and transforming data from multiple sources and creating KPIs within datasets to enable reporting and visualizations
· Work with other teams to gather and understand reporting and dashboard requirements.
· Use agile methodologies, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver high quality products and services to our internal and external customers.
· Track project status and deliverables and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.
· Plan and organize demos and product testing.
· Develop automation scripts and reporting systems for data analysis and quality
· Translate business requirements into technical requirements
· Work as liaison between business and technical resources
· Plan and organize demos and product testing.
· Train, mentor, and support other PowerBI users.
· Analyze and improve the performance of data-oriented products and services
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
· BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar
· Intermediate to senior level experience in an analyst role. Demonstrated strong consulting and data analysis capabilities
· At least 5 years’ experience with SQL related to data retrieval and data analysis
· At least 5 years’ experience as an analyst recognizing problems; gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data; drawing valid conclusions; taking appropriate actions, and making appropriate recommendations
· 4+ years of experience in using PowerBI in a corporate environment and developing complex dashboards and visualizations
· Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate internal, team and client meetings to achieve their objectives
· Experience working with data analysis on public cloud platforms like MS Azure, AWS, and Databricks
· Proven project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
· At least 2 years’ experience with data modeling
· At least 2 years’ experience with investigating and resolving design challenges and conflicts in data modeling and data architecture
· At least 2 years’ experience in database management systems, data architectures, data analysis, data pipelines, and data-oriented quality assurance.
· Strong understanding of Master Data Management Concepts, Data Governance policies, Data Modeling techniques and Data Integration concepts
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
· Expert level skills with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
· Experience working within the financial/banking industries or agricultural or manufacturing / supply chain industries

display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of
time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail,
numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are
normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual
challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May
require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
