POSITION: Corporate Tax Experienced Senior AssociateLOCATION: Dallas, TXWORK TYPE: Hybrid (3+ days/week on-site)SALARY: $101,000 - $112,000/yrTYPE: PermanentCATEGORY: Accounting / FinancePOSITION OVERVIEW:Our Client, a leading accounting and finance organization, seeks a Corporate Tax Experienced Senior Associate to join their dynamic corporate tax practice. In this role, you will manage end-to-end tax engagements, lead compliance projects, and provide critical support on ASC 740 income tax accounting initiatives for multinational clients with revenues ranging from $100M to $1B. You'll work collaboratively with a talented team of tax professionals while developing leadership skills through mentoring and client engagement management.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Lead and manage corporate tax engagements from initiation through completion, including planning, execution, and budget management• Supervise, train, and mentor junior associates and interns; provide performance assessments and feedback• Conduct comprehensive reviews of tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provision engagements with increasing responsibility• Prepare and review ASC 740 income tax provisions end-to-end, including preparation, review, and audit support• Research complex tax matters and provide consulting on various tax planning and compliance issues• Prepare corporate tax returns and utilize tax-specific software for return preparation and processing• Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries and correspondence with IRS, state, and other tax authorities• Develop deep understanding of client operations, business objectives, and industry dynamics to provide strategic tax services• Maintain professional standards and strict confidentiality across all client engagements• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs• Travel as needed to support client needsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting• 2-4 years of progressive corporate tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in a top 20 accounting firm• CPA certification or CPA eligibility required• Demonstrated expertise in ASC 740 tax provision work (end-to-end: preparation, review, and audit support)• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Excellent analytical and attention to detail capabilities• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with minimum 3 days/week on-site presence• Willingness to travel as neededPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• CPA certification (preferred over eligibility)• Extensive public accounting experience with top-tier firms• Experience serving multinational clients with $100M-$1B+ in revenue• Demonstrated career stability and progressionCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:• Annual performance-based bonus eligible• Sponsorship available for qualified candidatesThis is a permanent backfill position offering the opportunity to develop into a management role for the right candidate.---SCREENING QUESTIONS:1.
