Crew Leader - Commercial Enhancement

Southern Botanical is seeking multiple Landscape Enhancements Crew Leaders who can deliver exceptional customer service and lead their teams to success. This role involves planning and organizing daily work, supervising and training crews, ensuring proper equipment use and maintenance, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Crew Leaders will oversee site operations, interpret planting diagrams and blueprints, manage daily paperwork, and ensure preparation for the next day’s work is complete.

Position Required Qualifications:

· Plans and organizes work for crew, enforcing all safety policies and procedures

· Gives direction and instructions to crew pertaining to daily jobs

· Supervises and trains crew as needed, ensuring all equipment is maintained and used properly and all crew are trained in related equipment use and maintenance

· Completes required paperwork daily and provides feedback to management for tasks in progress

· Follows written and/or verbal instructions from Manager to complete assigned tasks

· Reads and interprets planting diagrams and blueprints

· Oversees equipment used in construction and installation operations

· Inspects equipment and all work done at the site continuously, checking quality and safety, and that productivity conforms to company standards

· Ensures that crews do not to leave in the evenings until all preparations are made for next day’s work, all tools & equipment are stored in proper place, and trucks are clean and fueled

· Follows punch list to handle finishing touches on landscape installations

· Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

· Physical demands are required from this position and might include, but are not limited to:

· Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

· Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold sun, or night.

· Repetitive movement such as standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (refers to job, not incumbent):

· Educational Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent with eighth grade reading level. Must complete at least 16 hours continuing education credits annually

Required Certification/Licensure :

· Valid state driver’s license. Qualified to drive company vehicles.

Experience Requirements:

· 1-2 years’ experience in landscape field with one year demonstrated lead experience.
