Location: Fort Worth, TX.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Assignment Length: 6 Months.
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay.
Assignment Type: Temporary, Full-Time.

Openwork has partnered with a local municipality in Fort Worth, TX to add a Temporary Inventory Clerk to their team. This position supports an important inventory organization project and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a respected public-sector employer.

If you are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with both physical inventory and data tracking, this role provides valuable experience in a structured and professional environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Organize and arrange physical inventory including tools, bins, and materials.
• Conduct and document inventory counts.
• Maintain and update inventory records using Excel.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Support department organization and documentation processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Intermediate-level Excel skills (required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and organize physical inventory accurately.
• Reliable attendance and professionalism.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous inventory or warehouse experience.
• Administrative or clerical support experience.
• Experience working in a structured or municipal environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move materials throughout the shift.

Onboarding Requirements:

• 7-year criminal background search.
• SSN trace (as part of background screening).
• Motor vehicle record check.
• Education verification.
• Drug screen.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required screenings in accordance with applicable regulations.
