CNC Machining Technologist — Lathes & Vertical Turning

Based in Victoria, TX 77905, this role invites a detail-driven CNC expert to transform prints into production-ready reality. You’ll shape components to spec, safeguard quality, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
How You’ll Contribute
- Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts to specification.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to plan each job accurately.
- Monitor live runs, making adjustments to maintain tolerance, finish, and consistency.
- Conduct routine care and basic diagnostics on CNC equipment.
- Follow all safety requirements and best practices around machinery.
- Record production outcomes and machine conditions with precision.
- Work alongside teammates to enhance processes and increase efficiency.
Your Background
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNC certification/training preferred.
- Experience operating CNC machinery in a production or job-shop environment.
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation and introductory programming concepts.
- Fluency in reading technical documents and mechanical drawings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical problem solving.
- Collaborative communicator who contributes to a team-first environment.
- Comfort with flexible hours and overtime when production demands it.
