PM Floater/Assistant Teacher
Summary Jupiter House Preschool is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Floater / Assistant Teacher to join our team! If you love working with children and enjoy being part of a supportive, positive school environment, we would love to meet you.
Position Overview:
Our Floater / Assistant Teacher supports all classrooms (Infant through Pre-K) by assisting lead teachers, helping maintain classroom routines, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for every child. This role is perfect for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about early childhood education. Duties- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities
- Help supervise children during centers, circle time, playground, and transitions
- Provide nurturing care and guidance to students
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Step into classrooms as needed to support ratios and breaks
- Communicate professionally with team members and families
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to multitask and adapt throughout the day
- Must meet state licensing requirements (background check, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain)
