Maintenance Systems Engineer, F-35 - Level 2

Description: What You Will Be Doing:

You will be the F-35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) Systems Engineer - Level 2, and will be an essential part of identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance plan changes that will increase the Organizational maintenance capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life cycle costs.

Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry/technical experience (e.g., private or military aviation experience focusing on core maintenance, sustainment, and engineering concepts).
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
Previous F-35 program experience.
Low Observable, Structures and Crew escape maintenance concept experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems engineering framework.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
