HR Generalist
This role will be the first dedicated HR hire on the ground in our growing Austin hub. This position will have a primary focus on driving full-cycle recruitment while also managing local HR operations and office support. This is a new position created to help support our growing team in the US. You’ll report to the VP of HR and work alongside an additional People Specialist, based in San Diego.
This role would be the perfect opportunity for an HR professional looking to continue to hone their generalist skills in a highly dynamic environment and play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our Austin office from the offset!

What You’ll Do
- Own End-to-End Recruiting: Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for roles across our customer-facing and operational teams in the US. Source candidates, run phone screens, manage coordination, deliver offers, and drive onboarding.
- Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with managers to understand team needs, build strong pipelines, and provide a proactive, data-informed recruiting strategy.
- Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions
- Champion Our Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate touchpoint reflects our culture and values, with timely, clear, and personalized communication.
- Drive Employer Branding: Represent Workiz in the Austin market by building our presence through social media, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Optimize TA Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruitment workflows, tools, and reporting.
- Local HR Support: Be the primary HR contact in Austin, handling employee lifecycle support, basic employee relations, HR documentation, and compliance tasks in partnership with the global team.
- New Hire Onboarding: Partner with managers and the enablement team to deliver a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.
- Office Experience & Culture: Maintain a functional and welcoming office environment; coordinating team events, employee milestone celebrations, and engagement activities.
- Admin & Coordination: Provide administrative support across HR functions, including meticulous employee record management and collaborative assistance with IT and Finance.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per annum.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven company
- Proven experience managing full cycle recruitment across levels and functions, including sourcing talent using LinkedIn and other tools (preference for candidates with experience hiring GTM roles)
- Solid understanding of end-to-end HR operations and administrative best practices
- Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems (bonus points for working knowledge of Comeet, Rippling, Personio, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ)
- A highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset. You manage competing priorities with ease and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to build trust with candidates and employees at all levels

**This is a hybrid role working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in our Austin office and Monday and Friday working remotely.
Salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per annum.
