Accounting Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our administrative, billing, and permitting processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. A strong focus on customer service and a proactive attitude are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order parts for various projects and track order status through to delivery
- Receive and process incoming shipments and documentation
- Maintain and manage accurate inventory records
- Create and process work orders in a timely manner
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Contribute to special projects and provide general support as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Physical Requirements: This role is primarily sedentary but may require occasional lifting of files, opening of filing cabinets, and light bending or standing.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
