Toddler Teacher
Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced toddler teacher to join our team in North Houston, Texas. We believe that the first few years of a child's life are the most critical for their development, and we are looking for a teacher who shares this belief and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with toddlers and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their growth and development. - Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that promotes growth and development
- Implement an age-appropriate curriculum and create lesson plans that promote children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Conduct daily activities that foster children's social and emotional skills, including playing, reading, singing, and storytelling.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to meet their individual needs.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents and guardians to ensure their involvement in their children's education and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain appropriate documentation and records.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements for a preschool teacher.
