About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified OR RN in Abilene, Texas, 79601!

An RN Operating Room (OR) nurse is responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Duties include preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, assisting surgeons during operations, monitoring patients throughout procedures, handling surgical instruments, and documenting patient care. Candidates usually need an active RN license, 1–2 years of recent OR experience, BLS certification, and experience in circulating or scrub roles. ACLS and CNOR certifications may also be preferred by some facilities.

Requirements

Common Requirements

• Active RN License (State License or Compact License)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OR experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (preferred/required by some facilities)
• CNOR Certification (preferred)
• Experience with circulating and/or scrub roles
• Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR systems (preferred)
