Position Overview:

· The Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's software applications.

· This role ensures that a l applications align with business objectives and operate efficiently.

· The Application Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance system performance, and support innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Oversight:

· Manage the lifecycle of enterprise applications, from acquisition and deployment to decommissioning.

· Ensure application performance, reliability, and security meet company standards.

· Develop and enforce governance frameworks and best practices for application management

Business Collaboration:

· Partner with business units to understand application needs and ensure they align with organizational goals.

· Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments to drive successful project execution.

· Facilitate stakeholder meetings to review project progress and address concerns

Process Optimization:

· Implement standardized methodologies to enhance efficiency in application management.

· Monitor application performance metrics and drive continuous improvement based on data insights.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.

Vendor and Budget Management:

· Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements for enterprise applications.

· Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or alternative solutions.

· Assist in budgeting for application management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.

Experience:

· 5+ years of experience in IT application management, system administration, or related roles.

· Proven experience overseeing enterprise applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:
