Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager role is new and responsible for developing and executing a talent acquisition and onboarding strategy that identifies screens and selects top talent across all levels and locations of the organization. This is an opportunity to own, define and build the full talent acquisition lifecycle and onboarding process while collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a flawless candidate experience that aligns with business needs. Initial focus is collaborating with Operations to ensure quality Operations supervisory/hourly candidates are identified and complete the hiring process. Partnering closely with the Director of Human Resources, this role will lead a foreign-based team to shape talent acquisition and onboarding strategy in a highly competitive environment contributing to seamless recruitment and onboarding experience. This role requires creative thinking, success in process design, and a high attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:

• Define and establish a comprehensive, proactive and scalable talent acquisition strategy that includes evaluating outsourcing/vendor partnerships that meet company requirements and align with the company’s growth.
• Direct and coordinate the onboarding process by collaborating with human resources, payroll, IT and Compliance to ensure the completion of all necessary onboarding tasks resulting in great candidate experience.
• Lead and coach talent acquisition/onboarding specialists in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and execution of the onboarding processes.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for all Operations and corporate functions, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
• Solve talent acquisition/onboarding problems and produce solutions by offering suggestions, new ideas, or alternatives to improve or modify existing processes.
• Update, craft, and maintain job descriptions as well as managing creation and distribution of offers of employment.
• Identify, track and report on metrics and key performance indicators.
• Generate and deliver regular talent acquisition reporting that identifies and analyzes trends and drives continuous improvement.
• Adhere to the highest degree of integrity and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
• Ensure accuracy of talent acquisition data and manage job requisitions, approvals, and consistent use of existing talent acquisition company platforms.
• Assess potential use of Paylocity’s “Recruiting” module and its application.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local employment laws, EEO, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, GINA, FCRA, IRCA.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field or proven work experience in talent acquisition.

• Experience: 3-5 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in operations-related roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, sound HR fundamentals and relevant employment laws.
• Experience developing creative sourcing approaches for hard-to-fill roles.
• Success in leading foreign based (Central America) talent acquisition staff preferred.
• Experience managing multi-location talent acquisition.
• Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn.com, Indeed.com, and other third-party recruiting solutions).
• Proven success in building and/or overhauling transformational processes and incubating innovative ideas.
• Innate ability to solve problems quickly and with thorough due diligence of available data to drive decisions.
• Proven experience in driving decisions and working through ambiguity.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• High attention to detail, ambition, and a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or resume databases.
• Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:
• Primarily office based with occasional travel to branch offices, job fairs, and recruiting events may be required.
