Remediation Technician
Talon/LPE is a leader in environmental consulting, field services, remediation, and environmental drilling, serving Texas and surrounding regions for over 25 years. As a Remediation Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting environmental cleanup and remediation projects. Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot remediation systems
- Collect environmental samples, including soil, water, and vapor
- Perform equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance
- Conduct field investigations and document findings
- Support environmental cleanup activities
- Complete detailed field notes and data entry
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Travel to remote project sites as needed
- Assist with contractor oversight and field operations
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, and project managers to ensure project success
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to travel and work at remote job sites
- Commitment to working safely and following procedures
- Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience (preferred)
- Experience with equipment operation (preferred)
- Environmental field, construction, industrial, oilfield, or labor experience (preferred)
- OSHA training (a plus)
