Warehouse Material Handler

- Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Move products to appropriate storage areas using forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment
- Accurately picking orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE
- Inspect materials for damage and verify shipment accuracy.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow instructions and standard operating procedures for handling materials.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task completion and any issues encountered.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus)
- The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of warehouse practices and procedures.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work under the close direction of senior personnel.
- Self-starter to stay busy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and data.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School Education or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of general work experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- English
Forklift Certification PHYSICAL DEMANDS
