Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support certification, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service - BLS Provider certification from an approved provider - Registered Nurse license - Neonatal Resuscitation certification from an accepted organization - Advanced Life Support certification from an accepted organization - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery specialty. The facility has a Level IV Client Designation with a focus on high-risk, fast-paced deliveries. It consists of multiple Labor, Delivery, Recovery suites along with C-section suites and Triage rooms. The unit performs over 500 deliveries each month. There is 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric care, anesthesia, and neonatal intensive care. Certification in the S.T.A.B.L.E program and Advanced Fetal Monitoring is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 3-5 years of clinical experience in a perinatal setting is also preferred.
