Spare Parts Lead
The Spare Parts Lead is responsible for overseeing the effective processing of warranty and maintenance-related spare parts requests while serving as a subject matter expert and functional leader within the Spare Parts team. This role builds upon the Technical and Spare Parts Specialist position by handling complex and escalated cases, ensuring consistency in service delivery, and supporting team development through training and mentorship.

What You’ll Do
· Lead and manage complex, high-priority, or escalated spare parts and warranty cases
· Identify, order, and track spare parts for playground and outdoor fitness equipment
· Diagnosing product failures by reviewing technical documentation, installation records, and submitted photos to determine warranty eligibility
· Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent communication with customers, sales representatives, installers, and internal teams
· Create quotes and purchase orders using ERP and CRM systems and track orders through fulfillment and delivery
· Collaborate with Quality, Technical, Logistics, and Installation Services teams to resolve missing parts, damaged materials, and warranty approvals
· Support active installations by resolving parts issues that could impact installation schedules
· Act as a point of escalation and guidance for Technical and Spare Parts Specialists
· Assist with onboarding and training of new team members, including systems, processes, and technical knowledge
· Support the development and maintenance of training materials, job aids, and process documentation
· Encourage consistent response times, data accuracy, and service standards across the team
· Identify and recommend process improvements related to parts management, warranty handling, and internal workflows
· Provide departmental coverage during peak workload periods or staffing gaps
· Assist leadership with reporting, audits, and data integrity related to spare parts activity
· Provides functional leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to Technical and Spare Parts Specialists
· Supports team capability and development through training and knowledge sharing
· Promotes collaboration, accountability, and a high standard of customer service
· Acts as a trusted partner to management in supporting team performance and operational efficiency
· Does not have direct people-management responsibilities but is expected to lead by example
What You’ll Need
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· At least one year in the Spare Parts Specialist Role at KOMPAN. If less than a year, has demonstrated strong leadership skills in the role so far.
· Advanced Technical & Product Expertise with KOMPAN products
· Proficiency with Dynamics 365 Customer Service Workspace, Microsoft Navision, Kompan Master, Kompan Product Structure Tool, and Technical PDF Items
