Landscape Architect Manager
About The Role
The Landscape Architect Manager is responsible for overseeing and working with outside consultants to develop the budget, the design and then the construction of amenities, monument signage, and landscaping in Perry Homes’ self-developed communities.
Perry Homes does not have this position in other markets (Dallas, Central Texas, and Florida) therefore there is a potential opportunity for this person to also contribute to projects in other areas outside of Houston.
What You'll Do
- Lead the selection and coordination of architectural, landscape, and amenity consultants, ensuring alignment with community vision, budget, and timeline objectives.
- Drive end-to-end project management efforts, overseeing planning, cross-functional collaboration, milestone tracking, and successful execution from concept through completion.
- Partner closely with Marketing to shape community theming, branding, and naming strategies, ensuring cohesive positioning that resonates with target buyers and supports overall go-to-market success.
- Contribute to high-impact special projects and strategic initiatives, providing analytical support, creative problem-solving, and operational execution as needed.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Lansdcape Arcitecture or related field.
- 4+ years of relevant landscape architecture experience.
- Strong ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with outside professional consultants and contractors both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively work with engineering and planning departments of local municipalities and counties.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, correspondence, blueprints, construction plans, plats, and development plans.
